This very belief is what moved our founder, Chandrea, to establish Cherished Care Services in 2015. Having grown up in an environment where the extended family was the cornerstone of support, she envisioned a care service that wasn't just about tasks, but about fostering genuine, warm relationships — an extension of family.
Chandrea partnered with Chris, whose 15 years in the charity sector brought a profound understanding of community needs, coupled with a sharp insight into how personalised technology could enhance lives. Together, they built Cherished Care Services from the ground up — a family-run company with a mission: to empower older people to live with dignity and joy in the place they know and love best.

Having worked in home care for older people, Chandrea set up Cherished Care Services after a conversation with her Grandma who gave her the wise words "Look after people the way you look after me my child." So in 2015, that's exactly what she did.
Both living and working in Wilmslow, Chris set up Cherished Care Services with his wife Chandrea. As a family-run business, Chris is passionate that the company is based on strong family values. He also has a keen interest in technology and AI.
